If I were to sum up in one sentence, what is Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, I would say that this is Team Fortress 2 in the Wild West ... with cowboys. Well, seriously, the greatest idea! Lead and Gold became my game when I´m looking for someone to kill. So sit down, drink coffee and find out why Lead and Gold can be the best hidden gold (hear me say that gold is Wild West instead of precious stone) 2010.

The game does not support more than five by five, and graphics for the time being excellent, not high, and there will never be a heavy load on a modern computer or Internet connection.
Graphically, the game has the same charm as Team Fortress 2, it´s clearly not the most graphically detailed headline, but the artistic style is so well established that it does not really matter. In environments, everything is perfectly combined with the game, the gold mines, the prospector´s city, the border fort, the farm and the canyon. All of them look great, and they are all unique to each other. It seems that there is a lot of love in these places. The character models are solid, but I would rather keep these details a bit later.

In the field of sound, the music of the game is, at best, completely fantastic, in particular one thing is so sad that it actually influenced me, it was incredible music. Some of them are also good, when others simply forget. The sound does its job, each pistol has its own unique noise, when a sniper bullet whistles in front of the ear - it´s a nice touch.

But you´re not here to read about what the game looks like, you want to know if the Wild West version has the same quality of the game as Team Fortress 2. The short answer is yes ... but if I stopped this review would be very short.

There are four classes in the game, and although they are just archetypes from other team shooters, they get bizarre names and some original components. Gunslinger - a soldier, Trapper - a sniper, a reconnaissance engineer. An interesting aspect is that each of these classes has a unique secondary ability that, when properly used, can really help your team win. Two great examples of this lie in Gunslinger and Trapper. Gunslinger can unload the entire drum of his pistol into one degree of death, which will allow him to survive the sudden attack of another player, while the hunter can trap, anyone who gets into them will be stuck trying to snatch his leg for a few seconds. Therefore, if you are a hunter and you take your sniper position on the roof, it´s nice to lay traps down to the entrances leading to your nest so that you can not get the lead in the back.

Another interesting twist is that when you approach your allies, dead or alive, they give you a buff, some of you will heal you, others will give you more armor or even more damage! Again, this is another new element that adds an additional level of strategy to the game.

The most interesting thing is a small thing, which I called the flag of appearance. When you start the match, a flag will appear, which can be selected by one member of your team. Now, if you die, you have a choice: to return to the base or to the point of the flag holder. This means that there is an additional level of danger and reward for the flag carrier, they can help push the team further or give them a better place to reborn, but at the same time you are a huge target for another team. The reason is that if you die with the flag, another team can capture it and send everyone back to your home base, on the contrary, the teammate can take it and become the new owner of the flag.

The game has five modes. Shootout is just a team deathmatch, and the winner is the team with the most points after a ten-minute round. Each game contains two ten
